LauraI like to have fun; but then who doesn't. What's great about my liking to have fun... so does William, and it is the same type of fun. We like to go out dancing and listen to electronic dance music, AKA house, trance, techno, & jungle (William is the jungle fan). We also like to go out to eat, go out with friends or just hang out in Balboa Park. I like to snowboard. This winter William learned how to snowboard too. I work as an advertising account executive and sell ad space in beautiful San Diego tourism publications for the SDCVB. WilliamI am very interesting and Laura says I am handsome. I moved to San
Diego in 1997 to work for a Pharmaceutical company. I have stopped
doing research and now help people with projects as a technical
support guy for a biotech company.
But there is more to life than work. I like to run and jump and swim and
dance and ride my bike and drink wine as the sunsets with Laura. I
like to talk with people. I also like to think about physics and chaos. How We MetLaura's version: Our friend Robert Arends introduced William and me. I was bribed into going to a party called Love Bomb because Robert wanted to introduce me to someone he thought I would be interested in. He was right. I went to the party with my former roommate Serena. We checked William out from afar. (Shame on us) then I told Robert that William is really cute. The rest is History. William's version: I met Laura a few times before at different clubs. Then one day Robert told Laura he had somebody to introduce to her. I guess he forgot that he had introduced us a million times before. Robert and I went to Love Bomb. I saw Laura there and smiled at her. (Something she doesn't remember). Robert introduced us and then we went our separate ways dancing at the party. But I kept watching Laura and smiling at her when she looked at me. I think she offered me some candy, and tried to talk to me, but the music was loud, so I didn't talk much. The party got shut down early so we went to another small house party, where Laura and I could talk, which we did. At the end of the night, or rather beginning of dawn, we exchanged phone numbers for a future date. I called her the next day.
