***My Biography Page***

What's up everybody, my name is Demetri Antwone Williams. I was born May 11,1979. I grew up in Clarksville, Tennessee where I had lived a difficult life. I grew up speaking German when I was born. I had to go through two years of speech therapy in order to understand and speak English clearly. I am still having problems with stuttering when I talk sometimes. I feel that I am different from the rest of my relatives in my family because my brother, Walter Cole, and I grew up in a different state. My father gave me the nickname "Bud" because my when I was a baby, his cheeks were big and they looked like rosebud. Since a lot of my friends couldn't remember my real name Demetri, I always tell my friends to just call me Bud since it is easy for everybody to remember me by. Some people used to call me Barry White because my voice was real deep, and I talk so low sometimes. People couldn't understand what I was trying to say. I have been through several high schools, and I really had to adjust to every school I had went to. While I was in Germany, I attended a school called Vilseck High School where I received a plaque for Outstanding Citezenship Award of the year in 1993-1994. I also made Honor Roll and High Honor Roll for several semesters. I also attended Bradwell Institute in Hinesville, Georgia. I had been struggling a lot since the whole system was totally different from all of the other high schools I had attended. I felt a little uncomfortable because the teachers acted like they didn't care about their students, and there were a lot of prejudice among some of the teachers. Since I was one credit short from passing to the next grade, I had to go through summer school at Liberty County High School. The English teacher was so very helpful, and I passed English with a "B". After summer school, I returned to Meridian, Mississippi and finished school at Northeast High School. I graduated with a 2.8 grade point average. I also attended college at Meridian Community College in Meridian, MS. I majored in Computer Programming. I graduated with an A.S. degree in Computer Programming with a grade point average of 2.7. I returned to Meridian Community College to get an A.S. degree in Computer Networking Technology. I made the Dean's List a few times and hoping to make it again after I finish with Computer Networking Technology. I will be graduating in December 14, 2002 with an A.S. degree. I hope I find me a good job in the Meridian area. I might have to go out of town to find me a job. If things do not work out, I might attend a university in the near future. All of his relatives were glad that he is attending college and not sitting around the house not doing anything.
