This is a fast way to produce vegetables without soil. The growing media are in baskets set above ground. The baskets are stacked in tiers, like a multi-deck wedding cake. The bottom basket is 15 inch diameter, the next basket up is 12 inch diameter. The top basket is about 8 inch diameter. The plant is started in the smallest basket. As the plant grows, the whole plant with the basket is lifted up and set ontop of a larger basket. The drip water is controlled by a timer. The slow release fertilizer is mixed in the growing media.
