Little Egypt has become a close friend. I think so much of her that I asked her to become a co-moderator of my E-Group, and she said yes. She wrote a bit of positive inspiration for the Harem each morning, and I thought it would be appropriate to archive it here....

Sat Jul 1, 2000 

Just wanted to let you know my Mom is stable but don't know at this 
time what is wrong. Dad is a basket case. but hanging in there. 
Everything here put on hold till I know if I need to go there; Dad 
said was not nessesary at this time. They live 400 miles from me: My 
brother and family are there so folks are not alone; Have mixed 
emotions I should be there but Dad said no , not unless things would 
change. Nothing we can do there at this time. So here I set not 
wanting to leave the house so I don't miss a call. ~~~BTW Elaine 
sorry to hear about your cat, I know how you feel after just having 
my dog put down a couple weeks ago. My heart goes out to you : To all 
my Sisters here thanks for all the support during this times Hugz to

Sisters thanks for all the prayers and support here. They still don't 
know waht is wrong with my Mom, but she is resting well and Dad is 
still a basket case but putting on big front in front of Mom so not 
to upset her. Hopefully they will find out more soon. Hospitals don't 
do much on holidays unless it is an emergence, so may have to wait 
till Wednesday to find out more. Again thanks sisters, and have a

Thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts, Mom still having tests 
still don't know anything. Dad hanging in there; Thanks again 
sisters, BTW Will be shut down this afternoon changing carriers will

My Mom called me she got to come home today. Thank God they didn't 
find anything wrong just think she had a viral infection. She is weak 
but much better Dad is happy too:o) Thanks to all my sisters there is 
power in prayer. You ladies make me feel so good. I really appericate

This is truely a day of celebration, not only for freedom and peace 
but for me having my Mom home is all the celebration I need.Man what 
a glorious day this is. Hope each and everyone of you and yours has a 
very special day: For us here we are going fishing, and then will 
grill dogs or something later in the day, So smile stand proud to be

The dawn of a new day, the birds are singing so sweetly you see; it 
makes me happy to hear their songs so sweet; makes me want to tap my 
feet;as they flutter around in flyt gives me such a wonderous 
delight;as they sing and fly to and fro bring in a new beautiful day

Sultan is happy to be in all your wonderful company;So bring your

Yes it is a beautiful day we finally have some sunshine headed our 
way. Today I am going to make me a Oded iron on for my shirt, having 
fun with new computer,I have only had to call for help twice, but 
thanks to our dear friend Molly she has taught me alot via email. her 
and I have the same kind of computer so it helps, Miss her here, Well 
you ladies have a sun shine day and enjoy; Having apple cinnamon 
coffee cake and coffee and tea come on over and I will share it with 
thee: BTW if Gabbs reads this we miss you and hope things are going 
well; Jinniffer hope Mom is doing better and Jane you take care. 
Elaine hope thinks are mellowing down for you. I wish the best for 
all my friends here and Starr with out saying your in ours hearts

This has been one dosey of a night and AM , was surfing on Ben and 
Jerry's ice cream site when something there wiped out my intire 
windows, had to have tech support help me back on lost my cable 
carrier and aol. Got aol back but now have to wait for cable people 
to hook a new card in tower.,Lost everything I had stored and in 
files haft to start from scratch again boy am I tried and have a 
headache the size of Kansas. So stay away from B&J Ice cream unless 
you want creamed. Other wise I am fine , so is Mom and Dad. Catch ya 
later sisters have a great Oded afternoon. If anyone see the Sultan

A Misty blanket of fog lies creeping across my yard; looming as thou 
to say a mysterious hello: lifting oh so gentlely off the grass; 
heading for the sky as it disappears as thou it is saying good bye; 
Softly as the suns first light spreads it with sheer delight.as it 
withers away I can almost hear it say, see you another day: Good 
morning sisters, May all your hopes and dreams come true; Hope you 
all have a fantastic weekend, Come on over we will cook on the grill

Thursday night such a delight , Planing a harem night, I have dill 
dip and BBQ smokies, veggie tray and a lot more. Chocolate cookies

neat. Think I will start the day with a good cup of hazelnut coffee , 
pancakes with homemade maple sryup, bacon fried crispy, fresh 
strawberries and bananas sliced together. So if you havn't had
