I was a new Christian when I first bought a plaque with this beautiful quote on it. I still have it. My husband and I were in the Methodist ministry and whereever we were sent, this plaque was always hung in the parsonage where we lived. We all strive to do "things" in this life, some for acceptance from others, and some for self gratification. I have learned in the Christian walk, that only the things we do for Christ and His Glory, will withstand the sands of time and be of any difference in the Heavenly realms. I pray that the remaining time I have on this earth, will be spent doing things which I feel Christ would have me do and which will Glorify His Name. I'm in a period of my life at this point, where I do not know exactly what He wants me to do, so I continue each day to ask for His guidance and I know He will show me the path He wishes me to take.
