Formatting Your Story




Let's just make one thing clear. We're marking you on your story content, not how well you format it. HOWEVER, formatting it along these guidelines will make it easier for us to read and post, and thus helping your stories to get on line. Comprende?

Okay let's start off. Here is an example of the way text is usually formatted in a story:

"Oh, what a beautiful morning", Buffy yawned as she wakened from her long slumber.
"Come on, sleepy head," Buffy's mother, Joyce called from downstairs.
"Just coming, mom," Buffy responded.

You get the picture?

Well this is how we would like you to format your story:

"Oh, what a beautiful morning", Buffy yawned as she wakened from her long slumber.

"Come on, sleepy head," Buffy's mother, Joyce called from downstairs.

"Just coming, mom," Buffy responded.

You see not that dificult!

Now onto the next thing. In each of the paragraphing spaces above (those are the blank lines in between each speaking part) I must enter the code of (spiky bracket on)p(spiky bracket off). I have not written the actual code because you would not be able to see it in any case. It would make my job a whole lot easier if at least a few of your authors out there would put this code into your paragraph spacing. If you did so, I would be guarenteed to post your fic! So c'mon (pretty please)
