2/21/02 - okay it's now our two month anniversary (where has the time gone?!) and I'm finally updating this page. Better late than never right?!

Yes, we did it - December 21, 2002 in beautiful, snowy Sedona, Arizona. The ceremony was beautiful, the reception a blast - thanks to all our friends and family who made it - and our honeymoon at the Grand Canyon was fantastic.

Okay okay time to update this now too eh?
How we met (or why I believe in fate) On May 23, 2002 I was sitting at my desk in my home office when I heard a noise in my driveway. I'd just bought my new car and figured some kids were chasing a ball or something - but I wanted to make sure my car was okay. Instead there was an adult woman walking between my cars. Back in April, my old car had been broken into and it appeared this woman was looking to do it again - in broad daylight nonetheless. I ran outside as she saw me and jumped into a car with two guys and took off. I looked up as they drove off and saw my new neighbor outside - so I waved and then went back inside all pissed off.
I decided to go out and talk to the neighbors - describe the car and what not. Eventually I did get to the new neighbors house - introduced myself to him and we started talking. He then asked if I wanted a beer - I noticed his cigarettes and asked if I could have one. He suggested we go out back - and three hours later we were still there - yes, my "new neighbor" is now my husband.
That night we talked about everything and anything - I've never felt like I could talk to anyone else like I talked to Robert that night. He invited me out to see his band play the next night, so Mary Jo and I went, and had a great time... and I just knew something was going to be going on between us. Saturday he stopped by for a bit before going to play and then Sunday he cooked me dinner - and I knew I was falling in love. The following Friday we had our first "formal" date at the Melting Pot in Scottsdale... okay who wouldn't fall in love?!
Then he asked me if I wanted to go on a cruise. I didn't quite believe he was real at first, but then we booked it and off we went to the Virgin Islands. After a wonderful morning at Megan's Bay we went shopping - and I wound up an engaged woman with a beautiful diamond ring on my finger - exactly what I wanted from exactly the man I'd fallen head over heels in love with.
That would be the summary - but the process was so much more - I never knew I could love like this - but I'm sure glad I met Robert and found out just how much as possible in my life.
That’s it for now – comments, feedback and whatnot should be e-mailed to me…
