A History of Mother's Day
This article, credited to Holly Hildebrand of Houston Chronicle Interactive, discusses the efforts of Anna Jarvis to bring about the first Mother's Day in Philadelphia, and her later efforts to stop the commercialization of the holiday which was to her so dear. It also touches on Mothering Sunday and celebrations in ancient Greece to honour the Goddess Rhea.

B8 Graphics
Wonderful hand drawn graphics sets for a whole variety of occasions. Teddy bears, hearts, florals, sets for special occasions, and even a notebook/journal set. One set is specifically marked as a Mother's Day set, but some of the others would be good for that too.
