“Too” and “to”, an o for breathing
room,
“Too”’s used for also, and “to” is
to whom.
I don’t use “him to”,
Neither “too the goo”,
A mistake like this can be an
author’s doom.
((Many of
the too/to mistakes can be typos—one ‘o’ too many or one ‘o’ short. Just watch
out for it. ‘Too’ is used in cases like “I didn’t want her to get the chicken
pox too”, and ‘to’ in “I gave it to her anyway.” ‘To’ is also used as an
infinitive, i.e., to run, to walk, to play, to defenestrate...”I want to play outside!”
