S Club, Kittens, Will for Jubilee gig
S Club 7, Atomic Kitten and Pop Idol winner Will
Young have been booked to appear in the star-studded
line-up to celebrate the Queen's Golden Jubilee
concert on 3 June. Rock veterans Sir Elton John, Sir
Paul McCartney and Eric Clapton will also be taking
part.
More performers are
expected to join the line-up shortly to The Party In The Palace in Buckingham
Palace's gardens, although no official announcement has been made yet. It has
been confirmed however that Princes William and Harry will be going to the
concert.
The 24,000 tickets to the event are free and are available by calling 0900 1952
2002 and or visiting www.bbc.co.uk/queensconcerts.
A Palace spokesman said: 'This is the Queen's way of saying thank you to all the
people who have supported her over the years.'
Comedians Ben Elton and Lenny Henry will host the event.
