Robbie
takes a Pop at Will
FUN-LOVING ROBBIE
WILLIAMS launched a hilarious spoof tirade against Pop Idol winner WILL YOUNG.
Robbie, 27, recorded the joke message in Los Angeles while taking six months off
— and it was played as he was named Best British Male.
In it the star, who has now won a
record 13 Brits, pretended to be stroppy.
Sitting by a pool, he proudly held up his trophy and said:
"Hello Will from Pop Idol. You think you can take this away from me. Well,
you can’t. Three times I’ve won this, man, and you haven’t got it.
I’m much too strong for you.
"You want to take the food off my table. You want to stop my kids going to
school. I don’t think so.
"Craig David couldn’t do it. What makes you think you can take it away
from me?"
Robbie — who has said in the past he is a fan of Will — then added: “Good
luck mate. I think you’re great.”
Sadly Will, 23, was not there to see the joke after being banned by Pop Idol
judge Simon Cowell.
He was scared Will might be jeered by guests like Pop Stars winners Hear’Say
were last year.
