a former smuggler, The Ysable Kid--real name Loncey Dalton Ysabel--always dresses in
black. He is a skilled rifleman and was trained in Comanche horsemanship. He worked with his Kentucky-born father, Sam, during the Civil War and avenged his murder before joining The Floating Outfit. He and his father served as scouts for the Confederacy during the war.
