Form school is the basis underlying all traditional Feng Shui practice.
For it is recorded that:
Terrain (Luan2 Tou2) is the form/substance/body (Ti3); Luan Tou without Li3 Qi4 (Qi management/numerology) will not be effective; Li Qi without the (appropriate) Luan Tou will not respond; If there is appropriate Luan Tou, when the timing is right according to Li Qi then (auspicious/inauspicious) things will happen.
So we see there is a time element in Feng Shui, that is why we can tell when auspicious matter will come or inauspicious matter will strike.
I will also like to make a passing remark here on BTB school, I do not intend to attack or criticize any feng shui schools, as some times it is not whether the code is real or not, but that the practitioner is skilled enough to use a certain technique/method of a certain school. As it is said that, as long as a cat can catch mouse, it does not matter whether its color is bad or white. (You will also find that I use a mixture of several feng shui school)
But whatever feng shui schools that you want to learn, just make sure that you learn the proper methods, and also bear in mind that all feng shui schools should be able to tell the problem/trouble that the residents of a house will face, if the audit is wrong or when the cure is ineffective, or if a school cannot tell when and what will happen, it is LIKELY to be false.
Do remember the above, the principal is very important and even advance feng shui (Xuan Kong Flying Star) still make use this principal.
