CAMP WINACKA
          Camp Winacka is a resident Girl Scout Camp loacted in the mountain range of San Diego, California. The camp offers great opportunities for girls to get to know great friends, learn great skills, and have the time of their lifes. Girls entering grades 3-12 have the opportunity of going to Camp Winacka.
          There are many sorts of activities you can sign up for at Winacka. You can canoo, go horse back riding, swim, backpacking, rock climbing, arts and crafts, and many other things. The camp is run by qualified and trained staff and many of them grew up going to Camp Winacka.
COUNSELOR-IN-TRAINING
CIT
      The Summer before you enter your junior year in high school, you have the opprtunity to become a CIT. A CIT is someone who is training to become a counselor. Many girls do it also to help qualify for some of the Girl Scout awards. The summer before you enter your senior year you are able to complete your training and become a CIT level 2.
        Being a CIT is a blast because you have more privilages then a camper and less responsibilities then a councelor. It is a great way to be able to learn how to work with kids.
