Chapter Five |
What the hell are you doing here?" "Excuse me?" "You heard the question, Kyle. Now answer it." Danay's eyes blazed as she stood over Kyle's table at breakfast. Her arms were crossed against her chest, and she was tapping her foot impatiently. "I'm waiting." "Well, I don't know what for. I'm just here to visit Mandy." He shied away when she lifted her hand, but relaxed when she used it to rub her temple. "Forget it, Kyle. She doesn't want to see you." Danay turned to leave. "That's not what she said last night." Danay stopped in her tracks, her entire body went rigid, "You're lying." "Ask her. Ask her where she was last night, Danay. You just ask your precious Mandy." he stood from the table, "Oh, how I've missed you five. So naive, so innocent." Kyle laughed and shook his head. "There's a joke. I have so much ammo against you girls I could change my name from Kyle to Rich in less than a week." "You wouldn't dare." "Wouldn't I?" He paused, his eyes challenging her. "I'll see you around, baby. Now, where's Nikki, do you imagine?" "Bite me. You aren't getting anywhere near her." "Tsk tsk, Danay. Tsk tsk. You wou'dn't want this floating around, would you?" He flashed a piece of paper in front of her face, and she grabbed it. "Oh you can have it. You don't think that's the orignal do you? Now, you'll tell me where Nikki is, right?" Danay stared from his eyes, to the paper she now held in her hand, "Room 245." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Matt. Come on. Answer the damn phone." "Yo!" "Its me." "You get it?" "Not yet. Be patient. I'm helping you out here, Matt. I want something in return." "You'll get your money." "I have money. You know exactly what I want Matt, just think about it." CLICK ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Joey and Nikki stepped out of the elevator, and continued laughing as they made their way to the cafeteria, "Good God Joe, you're a klutz!" "I know, I..." he tripped over the hallway rug, and Nikki was dragged down on top of him. "Oomph! You were saying Joey?" "You get the point." As they fell over each other, trying to get up, neither one saw the flashes, and they went on with their hysterics. |
