FAQ's
(Frequently Asked Questions)
Here are some questions that people have written to me. I took some of the most frequently asked questions and a few of the more entertaining ones and answered them. If you have a question you’d like to ask me, go for it and email me at popsweetie04@yahoo.com

1. Why did you choose to write Innosense stories?
I was bored. I am so serious. While I was sitting around and surfing the net one night, I realized that I desperately needed to read something, but there were no Innosense stories out at the time. So I started to work with Geocities on the first ever Innosense fiction site. You people waited like four years for this, and it was about time you got it. I enjoy doing this for you.

2. Why do you dedicate so much time to a group you’ve never met?
I’m loyal. I’ve always been a fan of Nikki’s, and when I found out about Innosense, I was so pumped. The fact that I’ve never met them does bother me from time to time, but I focus all my energy on my fictional Innosense. That will do me until I finally meet the girls. Dedication has always been one of my best qualities, and I’m very proud of that.

3. What inspires you to write?
Everything. For my Nikki and JC stories, of course they themselves inspired me. For everything else… I have a big imagination. I could be sitting around looking for my favorite jeans, and I could get an idea for a story. I could be talking to any one of you, and I might have to stop for a moment to grab a notebook and write for a few seconds.

4. How did you get to be such a good writer?
I used the three P’s. Practice, practice, practice. In school, I’ll always be the one to write a 15 page long short story, when all the other kids are writing two pagers. I’m sure its something that I was born with.

5. Who are your inspirations?
I adore J.K. Rowling and Mary Higgins Clark. I’ve read every one of their books. Something about them being so powerful and being women just gets me. I also read my own work for inspiration. I believe the best person to learn from is yourself. So I read through my journal entries and things that I’ve written in the past and it makes me feel so good.

6. Could you tell me about yourself?
Why of course! My name is Jessica Robinson, and I’m 15, and proud to be part of the Class of 2004. I live in Milford, Ohio which is about 20 minutes east of Cincinnati. I’m five feet ten inches tall, with blonde hair and blue eyes. My birthday is April 14, 1986, so that makes me an aries. I’m very interested in mythology and relegions. I love reading books about stuff like that. I listen to all kinds of music, from rock, to pop, to jazz, to country.

7. Who’s your favorite member of Innosense and why?

My favorite member is Nikki. I grew up watching MMC, and I can remember always thinking she was amazing. She really hasn’t made my opinions about her change over the years, and I just completely respect her. Plus, I mean, come on, she’s got quite a voice on her.

8. How do you feel about your site becoming an over-night success?

Ay corumba… Its an amazing feeling. I’m so happy that you guys love the fiction so much, because that means you respect me as a writer. That makes me proud. The fact that the site is now in the Top 3, is just the icing on the cake. I just put it on there in July, and I’m so excited that its doing well. Thanks to all that support me!

9. Do your family or your friends know about IIF?

Yes and no. They all know I’m an avid writer. I mean, who doesn’t? They’ve known me so long. But only one has been to the site. And he didn’t even know it was me until I emailed him back. My mom knows I have a site, but she doesn’t know anything about it, except that I write on it.

10. Are you single?
Who sent in THIS question? Lol, no, I’m happy to answer it. Yes, I am single as of recently. I’ve had my share of guy problems in the last couple months, so hey, if you’re really interested…. ;) I’m such a sucker for cuddly guys, if you’re taking notes. LOL

11. Who are you closest to from the internet Innosense world?
Eeesh… a toughie. I love all of the Innosense fans unconditionally. But I love Alex to death. Shonnette and I are pretty close. Adri is my buddy. I talk to Sarah and Ryan off of the boards…. I guess those are the main outstanding ones.

12. How long will you continue with IIF?

I’m not sure. I hope for a long long time. Trust me, I have no plans to shut IIF down ANYWHERE in the near future. I’m a sophomore in high school, and you have my word that it will remain with constant updates until I’m in college. And, I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it.

13. When exactly did you start this site?
I started Incessant Innosense Fiction on February 16, 2001.

14. When did you start writing?

When I was 3, my grandma taught me how to write my name. Even though my e’s were always upside down, I became a story teller. I might not have known how to spell worth a plug, but I would write down something that must have made sense in my mind, and I’d make someone read it. I learned to read when I was 4, but I used to fake it. When I was 3, I made my grandma so proud until she found out that I had memorized the book, I wasn’t reading it. I still have these little books that I used to write and illustrate… lord I was a dork. Lol

15. How do I get in better touch with you?
Well… I’m sorry, but there’s only a few people that I would ever give my home address to, and its more than likely the people that I wrote I was closest to in number 11. I am on AOL though, and my screen name is aprilangel2004. And, if you are on ezboards, my screen name is SyncerJess.

16. Why did you stop your other stories to start a novel?

Most of my other stories had nowhere to go. I was bored with them. Plus, it was way too confusing to me. I was mixing up chapters, accidentally neglecting some stories, and I was way too busy. So I shortened my work load so that I can write longer, better chapters that are more in depth and, I hope, that you will enjoy more.

17. What are your goals in life?

My goals? Oh wow. My main one is to find the perfect guy to share my life with. But becoming one of the USA’s best journalists wouldn’t be too shabby. I guess another goal is just to be happy. That’s what it all comes down to in the long run, right? We all basically just want to be happy.

18. What other hobbies do you have?

I adore music. Its another passion of mine. Singing is just so much fun to me, even though I’m really not all that good at it. I love to hang out with my friends, and play softball. And, of course, I’m an internet freak. Lol

19. What are you like in real life?
Hmm… good question. I’m a very relaxed person. I’m kind of shy, unless I know you well. That’s when I can get wild. I love to lay around talking, or go out somewhere and have a great time. I can get very reserved, and I like to just sit around with my thoughts. It helps me to clear my mind, and fill up my journal, lol. I genuinely care about people, and I don’t have it in me to hate anybody.

20. What movies and cds do you like?

I loved “Planet of the Apes” to pieces. And yes, I do love Mark Wahlberg. Lol, but did you know he’s 30? “Remember The Titans” and “Armageddon” are also some faves of mine. As for music, I’m into Innosense, NSYNC, and that kind of thing. I love the remix that J-Lo and Ja Rule put out of “I’m Real”. I love that song. I’m also getting into Alien Ant Farm. The remake of “Smooth Criminal” is really cool.

21. Is it true you have a cat named Peaches?
Yep. But trust me, the feline wasn't named after Nikki. Its a HUGE coincidence that on September 9, 1979, my mom found a kitten and named her Peaches, and Nikki was born on the same day. I wasn't born until 1986, so trust me, I had nothing to do with it. So yes, both Peaches the cat and Peaches the person will turn 22 next month!

22. What's the process you go throughin writing a chapter?
First, I have a composition notebook and I sit down for a couple hours and I plan out the chapter exactly the way I want it to go. I think of quotes that might fit into a dialogue, and little details that could be important later on in the story. Then, usually the next day, I take another few hours to sit down at my computer and write out the chapter. I usually just chill for a day or two after that, because its draining, then I go back and change some things, or twist some of the plot around. I also spell check if I have time, and then the next day, I add the chapter to IIF!!

23. How would your friends describe you?

I dunno.. lol I've been told my eyes are really pretty, that I'm great to have around, and that when I'm happy other people can't help but be happy too... so I'm guessing they like me. lol

24. What's up with the scrapbook?
It got off to a rocky start. lol But its going really well now. I put any reader comments and awards or mentions I get in there. I would really appreciate it if you would like to add something personal to the scrapbook. You can email me any comments or a message about the site, me or my writing, and I'll be sure to put it in there, and you'll go down in my history! Its going to be a book that I'll cherish for the rest of my life.

25. Why is NSYNC in most of your stories?
Me-OW... geez. lol NSYNC was my favorite group up until September of last year when Innosense finally releases their album. Now that they've moved to second string, I can't help but pay them a little tribute. Plus, the Inno girls know them, so why not? Plus, I used to write nsync fiction, but I couldn't get into their heads as lead characters. When they take the back burner, I can write them better.

26. What happened to the message board?
Nobody posted on it except for a few people. There's no use keeping a board open if nobody will visit it. So yeah, I tried, it didn't work out. No harm done to my ego.

27. What character do you enjoy writing the most?

Oh lord, Blake. Absolutley Blake. I don't think many of you knew this, but Blake is molded after my best friend, and I'm sort of shaping Nikki up to be a mixture of herself and me. So you see, I've BECOME these characters. As I write them with us in mind, I can get in their heads better and I can make it more realistic. Now, none of the situations have happened between that person and I, but it helps a lot to know what you're aiming for in a story.

28. Why does it take you so long to write chapters to the novel?
I'm very busy now that my sophomore year has started. Trust me, the novel never leaves my thoughts, but I have schoolwork, basketball, my friends, and of course my guys. So I don't have as much time to write as I used to. But I promise I'll try to add a new chapter at least once every other week.
