I saw a man pursuing the horizon;
Round and round they sped.
I was disturbed by this;
I accosted the man.
"It is futile," I said,
"You can never-"

"You lie," he cried,
and ran on.

No such thing as a "better sex"

So, just when you thought high school was almost over, and people finally gained the maturity to understand that physical appearance didn't matter, psychologists have "discovered" the attractiveness stereotype.  What this means is that the attractive will succeed over the unattractive in today's society...

In 1993, The Wall Street Journal reported economists believed that the good looking earn 10% more money than their less attractive co-workers.  But this 10% difference isn't between women, it's between the men.  When one hears the words "sexism" and "stereotypes," the natural conclusion is that both are related to women, but this is not so.  Men are often subject to sexist comments and sexual harassment.

After coming to the realization that men can be subject to poor treatment just like women.  I wondered if maybe women have been paranoid in their efforts to "gain equality."   More or less I came to the following conclusion.

Even though women and men are not and never will be equal, men have more advantages than women do.  Our society has produced ridiculous expectations for men
and women.  We must work harder than ever to break discrimination, but in order to do that men and women must agree that both sexes have stereotypical problems.  Equality of the sexes will begin with equal attention.
