Wind Walker
Watch a child at play.
So young, so receptive to new things.
He doesn't ask if it's right or wrong, he just does it.
Then if Mom or Dad is there, he'll find out.
Children only learn what their parents teach them.
Or later, friends
Or later, enemies
Or later, history.
And if they do not learn, there may not be a later.
Think of a child -
Hungry -
Big eyes pleading from a shrunken face.
Think of ribs showing above a swollen stomach.
Think of the pain that makes the child whimper -
Only whimper, because crying hurts too much.
A child who wonders why Mommy won't feed him.
Then Mommy is gone too.
Where is she ?
"MOM - MEE "
Cry
Pain
Think of war.
