I am a divorced 42 year old sailing nut from Hudson Beach Florida.
I just recently relocated to Hudson Beach from Grand Haven Michigan.I am a carpenter by trade, but a sailor at heart. I've spent my entire life sailing on Lake Michigan, and it's tributary waters. It has been a long time dream of mine to become a boat captain. I have owned, sailed, and remodled several boats up in Michigan over the last 25 years. With my Great Lakes sailing experience, I now qualify for an inland captain's license. I moved down to Florida so I could log some nearshore and offshore sea time in order to qualify for an offshore master's license.
I am available to crew for yacht deliveries, racing, charters, and recreational sailing.
I am a non smoker, non drinker (but I love party people). I am exteremly knowledgeable about most aspects of sailboat maintainance. I am easy going and get along with most anyone.
I do own a sailboat down here in Florida, a Pearson 26. It's a nice little weekender, and I hope to upgrade to a larger "live aboard" soon.
My ultimate goal in life is to deliver sailing yachts world wide.
I also enjoy kayaking, playing the harmonica, fishing on the shore or out to sea, and camping.
Also, up in Michigan, I have a 13 year old step son from my previous marriage. His name is Connor. Connor comes down to Florida every other month for a week. He means the world to me, and he seems to be a "water rat", like myself, in the making.
