Autumn
Standing beneath these somber clouds Off pondering life’s mysteries Autumn has brought her touch… Gelds-Yellows-Auburns-Oranges Seer my eyes with intense depths! A slight breeze picks up Earthly smells of her season. Faint wood smoke follows on its heels – Calls me to my home Earth gives way to my gentle prodding All that is left to complete my day Is to have you here Beside me Sharing in my wonders, As though I am but a child again Amazed at Autumn’s quiet entrance Upon this plane. And as the yellow flower danced upon sweeping winds of distant times, my mind begins to flourish with thoughts of all knowing and pleasant surrender.
