| Log is flattened and flaired for switchplate cover. Drill 2-1" holes thru each log and into hole below as it is set. Clean out often with threaded rod. Insert scrap lumber bands thru holes for electricians to fish with. Cover holes each nite with scrap to keep out rain. |
| Left center: Butt joint,toe nailed togethereach way. Then lagged down. Drill thru joint, pump in caulk and insert 1" dowel. |

| Full log below siding above. Do not leave snow catcher as above but miter two siding pieces without butt and pass for first row or two.Step flash prior to siding we use 12x12 brown metal. Lay a 2x on roof sheathing to space siding up off shingles. Step flash prior to siding. |
