Little is known of Henrietta called "Etta" at this time. The 1900 Carroll County census has Henrietta Carico and daughter Cora M. in the household of Lemuel and Frances. It is unknown whether this is before or after she divorced Carico.

Nothing is known about Carico at this time including whether "Major" is his given name or a rank. He married Mary F. Leonard, age 23, daughter of Monroe Leonard and Bettie Unknown 19-Jan-1905. He was listed as a widow.

Nothing is known of Elbert Davis at this time other than he had two daughters, Myrtle and Nora, of a previous marriage.

Major and Henrietta's children are:
1. Cora M. (4-Feb-1897) and
2. Mattie Blanch born 24-Jun-1894 in Edmonds, Alleghany County, NC, and died 11-Dec-1988 in Candler, Buncombe, NC.

Note: The Webmaster has some doubt about the date of Mattie's birth. He believes she was born about 1900-1901.

Elbert and Etta's only known son is Dorsey.
