Nothing is known about James and his family. The 1910 Carroll County Federal Census has him mother, Amelia, in his household along with children:
1. Amelia Z. Jimorize, age 23, and
2. Linnie, age 21.

Both Amelia Z. and Linnie were listed as born in Virginia.

The 1888-1889 Gazette listed J.P. Winesett as a substantial farmer in the Tipton area.
