Robert called "Bobby" was raised by his grandmother Gracie Miller after Bob and Agnes divorced. He served a tour in the Army with an Nike Ajax air defense battery situated in Massachusetts. Afterwards he worked on the farm raising tobacco and some hogs. His name on Social Security records is Bobby and are probably so on his military records.

Joyce was born in Dillon, SC. She was a talented singer of country music but never make it a career. After Bobby's death she worked 28 years for the Southern National Bank primarily operating computer systems. She married Don Williams before her untimely death.
