I am an Indonesian Citizen, born in Bandung, West Java 49 years ago. I have an Accountant Scholarship title from Padjadjaran University in Bandung in the year of 1985. I work in PT. Pusri Fertilizer Company since 1986 until 01 Januari 2002.
Here is my island story:
Java island divide into three provinces called West Java, Center Java and East Java. Near East Java you can see a little island called "Bali". Bali is a nice place to rest in holiday. There was a beach, cottage, hotels, car/motorcycle rental. People in Franch, Japan, America and other place rest in holiday in Bali. A spesific thing in Bali is Lovely Beach & Artistic Sculpture.
My Native Town called "Bandung", West Java. My town is center of province government. 200 kilimeters from my town is center of country government called "Jakarta".
Bandung is place with mountains around. One of the volcano is "Tangkuban Perahu". Near that place is "Ciater", a relaxation place with Sulphuric Hot Water. So you can rehealing your skin diseases with that hot water if you bath.
Ciater road spread between the mountain and the hill with Tea Plantation. So you have fresh air and beautiful sight. And then you can see another place like Ciater called "Maribaya" Maribaya have Sulphuric Hot Water too located near little town called "Lembang". But the traffic from Bandung to Lembang very busy and overcrowded, especially on Saturday and Sunday.
Now I am going to tell you about Jakarta, the Central Government of Indonesia. Mrs. Megawati is the President after Mr. Suharto. She is the daughter of the first Indonesian president, Mr. Sukarno.
Jakarta condition still conduciveless for travellers. Sometimes people demonstration for something their leader want. So the traffic overcrowded, sometimes the demo became an accident between other political party and policemen. Those condition grows since the president changed until this time. The unstability condition make economic critical and inflation. Now US.$. 1,- = Rp. 10,700,- . So multi8plier effect was 4. Some manufacturer and industries bancrupt because of the mark up of US.$ value to Rupiah. Sometimes terrorist set bomb in plaza just like in "Senen Atrium Plaza" and in "Bursa Efek Jakarta". We, as Indonesian people just only hope to be peace and have a Big Deal Government Leader to handling economic crisis and terorism.
