One of the legendary Pentax wide angle lens. This 28mm F2 looks very much like the Zeiss one. It is heavy as a Pentax and is almost a double of the size and weight of the later M series and A series. It has a floating element, and is said to have used spherical lens elements to achieve the same result as aspherical lens, which was very expensive then. A rare find due to short production period and outstanding performace makes this lens a collector favourite. Excellent balance with larger Pentax brothers like LX and K seies.
