This is an attractive 28mm lens for its speed and size. It is about half the size and weight of its famous precedance the 28mm F2. But no more floating element for its compactness. 215 grams and 49mm filter size make it a good companion for traveller. Very good color rendition. The fast speed makes available light photography easier, which is important for many indoor historic heritage scenes where flashes are not allowed.
