WinGNuts (wing-nuts) have accomplished in such a short time what thousands of bands strive to reach their whole life. With headline slots at some of the best venues in the country, amazing live reviews, clothing and even a having fun, the world is definitely on it's way to their feet.

So what makes them tick…well, with just a 4 piece it hard to believe where they get such sound from. However if you think about it, it isn’t! With Arty harmonies and some avant garde musicianship, they create songs, or should that be anthems, of what can only be described as PASSIVE ART!

They were signed to DEATH records after a demo of one of their bestest songs
HEAVEY MATTEL received rave reviews across Northwich and even got them their first taste of airplay as well as being playlisted on  Hospital radio in Macclesfield. After leaving many people asking "when did I hear that before?",  they cut their debut single HEAVEY MATTEL

In what can only be described as twisted,
HEAVEY MATTEL tells the story a group of robots who pretend to be other things, such as cars, planes and even dinosaurs!  With some hilarious lyrics involving optimus prime, a truck, and the evil Disepticons, HEAVY METTEL reassures you that British talent still survives. Weighing in at just 1 tonne, with its superior song writing, IT'S WELL WORTH THE LISTEN!

As a live act they have easily surpassed many of their contemporaries by always trying to better themselves in every way, and from Widnes to Chelford their live shows always carry "110% prime insanity" stamped right through them!  A punishing schedule of 7 hours a day at college and 14 hours a day sleep has yet to take it's toll but has helped them prepare for the hard work they still believe they have to put in. If you get the chance, you should make what arrangements you can to catch
WiNGnuTS now before they are just a speck on the Art Zone, and trust me they will be!

WiNGnuTS were born out of a deep obsession with ART. By ditching ballads for comic sideburns, and hairspray for fresh fish, they embarked on altering many idioms that surrounded the "passive art" moguls at the time. They began in the humbling settings of the Chelford Scout hut and the Chelford village hall. From there they began the very quick transition from no one to no one with arrogance.
