Well, never fret. We know we all have our ups and downs. Take example, I, who was really sad for the past few days because I got a UD [Unofficially Dropped] grade on my clearance unexpectedly. I mean, c’mon! What did I do to deserve this? [We all come to ask ourselves.] I did my very best from prelims to finals to complete that subject, preferably Values and what did I got? A two letter word I hate to see on my clearance. So, then, I can hear myself singing, "Cry." Losing hope?
Anyways, let me share with you some tips I listed while I’m trying to get over with my BIGGIE problem of the moment.
*Stay calm. Of course, instead of crying a bucket of tears [I admit- the way I did] why don’t you stay calm and think things over. [For me, it was many things- maybe the computer made an error, or maybe my teacher forgot to encode our grade- things like that.]
*Inhale/Exhale. It’s like staying calm. Get a breather. Don’t be too tensed or lacking of it. Just remember things will be going to be fine. Read the Bible.
*Pray. There’s immeasurable power in it. Remember that God hears you and answers all your prayers on His given time and will. So, lift everything to Him. Admit that you coudn’t solve your problem ALONE. Pray for someone or one another.
*Don’t ignore the people around you. Because others might be your ANGEL in disguise- you know, someone to help you. It might be your sis or someone you don’t know. [I was thankful I found one! God bless her.]
*Never fear. Believe in yourself; these are just trials and you can get over it pretty SOON. Have Faith. [Mark 4:40]
*Be spontaneous. Don’t be too shy to voice out your problems. Be bold. Talk to a friend or pastor that will help ease your pain.
*Be patient. In no time, everything will be back to normal. You’ll
be singing new songs of praises again.
And lastly,
*Remember to thank God when your problems are solved. Wasn’t it great to have God by your side all along? Keep praying.[I still do.] "God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble." Psalm 46:1
So, the next time you feel hopelessly blue remember those things & you know what to do.Hope it will help you.JJ
God bless for another school year ahead,
your sister in Christ,
