Ming Yuan is a perfect mix of professional dedication and artistic prowess.
In 1995 Ming began her formal vocal training while living in Ottawa. Between 1996 to1998, Ming took advanced operatic lessons from world-acclaimed soprano Maria Pellegrini, known as "Queen of the Butterflies". During this time Ming also appeared in several Chinese Culture Shows in the Ottawa area.
Her rich, smooth spinto voice and graceful performances have received outstanding reviews from both local newspapers and television.
Ming Yuan is a former Executive Director of the Ottawa Oriental Dance Troupe, and the founder and first director of the Ottawa Oriental Musician's Association. Ming performed as leading solo for both the "Yellow River Cantata" concert and the "Chang Hen Ge Cantata" concert.
Currently Ming Yuan is taking advanced voice training from Ms.Lynn Channing, voice teacher of the Music Department at the University of Regina.
