As you toil over climbing you hear a howl. "Wolves" you think as you start to climb down. Then you realise that you aren't moving yourself! You are caught in a rockslide!! Suddenly you see a hand. You grab it and use it to help pull yourself up onto a ledge. Then you see your rescuer.
It is a mountain lion. with wings. The hand was really a paw!! You keep yourself from screaming, it looks friendly enough.
"I am Yaena, a wolrin who recently moved here from
Obi's wolves! Do you want to meet all my friends? Oh here come two other wolrin!"
"Hi!!"says the pink one, who is obviously a girl"She's Luk 'n i'm Muk" buts in the other one"OY!! I was going to introduce us!"Luk yells at Muk then turns to you and says"I'm terribly sorry about Muk's behavior. He never behaves properly." Then she pokes her tounge out at Muk and you decide to leave those twins to their "war of the siblings" Yaena joins you, sighs then says"Ah, Muk and Luk, The troublemaking twins we call them." Yaena says no more as you climb ever higher up the mountain.You see no one until Yaena points out a tiny winged kitty.
she just circles you and sniffs until you move on."Who was that?"you ask"And why didn't it talk to me like Muk and Luk did?""That was stia, she is too young to talk." You shrug and continue to climb as you have no more questions.
Eventualy it starts to snow and you wrap up tight in a coat that Yaena gave you."Ah!! the Woraxes! They'll be pleased to see you because they don't usually get visitors. As you walk into a pine forest you see two strange racoonish critters that run up to you and say "Welcome to the forest, we are the Ring Tailed Woraxes!"
"We can give you a magic leaf for your journey. It will help a LOT!"
Then they snicker and run away.
"That was unusual for them, they usualy love guests." says Yaena.Then you both walk out of the forest and then you find out just HOW useful the leaf was, it grew and became big enough to be an umbrella. You hold the stem to keep it over both of you as you move on.
