Last season, we had a lot of fun, and managed second at the Mid-America Extreme race and the Driftless Zone, as well as third in the MARS point series, despite teammembers moving, bedroom injuries (way to go Ted), and getting sent overseas.
Individual members have competed in the Twin Cities and Grandmas Marathons, the Berkibiner and Vassaloppet XC Ski races, numerous mountain bike races and triathlons.
Additionally, we have an annual Fall Before Winter Bar Bike Tour. It is quite the tour, and takes place in the NW suburbs of Minneapolis.
Our team is a member of MARS (Minnesota Adventure Racing Society). If you are interested in the sport, please feel free to join us. MARS runs training races and clinics geared to adventure racing.
If you have an interest in endurance racing and live in the Twin Cities area, feel free to contact us. We are always willing to answer questions, and are especially looking for females interested in adventure racing. If you want to have fun and do some serious racing in the 2005 season, let us know. We are more than willing to train you in the basics, race hard, and have plenty of fun at the finish line.
