Winterreise
Interpretations across two centuries of A Winter's Journey

Winterreise represents a singular cross-media interpretation of Schubert's acclaimed song-cycle, Die Winterreise.

Translations of Muller's poems are set beside Pip Woolf's moving drawings and paintings, and are accompanied by a CD recorded specially for the project by bass singer Robert Lloyd and pianist Julius Drake. This, in turn, is accompanied by Robert Lloyd's working score.

The result is an intriguing and memorable collaboration of visual art, music and poetry spanning two centuries.
