Who are Pathfinders?
Pathfinders are a worldwide organization of young people sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, though young people of any religious persuasion, or none at all, are welcome and encouraged to join the organization.
Pathfinders offer a wide range of activities including, but not limited to:
Objectives
1.To lead boys and girls to commit their lives to Christ and their church.
The choice of the Church's logo reflects the core values that Seventh-day Adventists are committed to. The foundation is the Bible, the Word of God, shown open since its message must necessarily be read and put into practice. Central to that Biblical message is the Cross, and is also central in the logo. Above the Cross and the open Bible is the burning flame of the Holy Spirit, the messenger of Truth.
It is our hope and prayer that though this logo is a very simple picture of the foundation of Adventist beliefs and values it may be a recognizable symbol of the Adventist message to the world
2.To demonstrate the attractiveness of Christian ideals in a positive, church-centered activity program.
3.To guide boys and girls into active Christian witnessing and community service.
4.To develop good character, citizenship and physical fitness in young Christians.
5.To teach a variety of practical skills and recreational pursuits.
