WIR Our Lucky Shamrock, is a 2001 chestnut tobiano-overo filly, and will be registered APHA/PtHA. Shamrock (or affectionately known as "Shami") is a very classic medicine hat Paint. She is inquisitive, intelligent and loves people.  I guess that is what comes from being an orphan foal.  Her story will be told in the future.  Shami has had many obstacles to overcome in her short life.  Among them are her dam's serious illness before her birth; the tragic few hours between her birth and her dam's death; the effects of her dam's illness on her; her prematurity and delayed development; to being adopted by an elderly broodmare; Regatta Queen; and having to be feed out of a "blue bucket" (shudder).

 
Shami has two full siblings, WIR Our Hearts Desire, a 1998 liver chestnut overo mare and WIR Our Cinco de Mayo, a 1999 liver chestnut tobiano gelding (he died 03 November 2000, as a result of a broken neck).
