BEWARE! - compression fakes!

I have recently found out that some compression programs are fakes.
they just fake compressions, some save the data in hidden files, some
uses additional files. 
for example: OWS that rememers only where the clusters of the data are stored
on the disk but if you change somehing all is lost, or WIC that creates a hidden
file named:WINFILE.DLL and holds in that file all the information, but if you take 
the file to another computer where the file doesn't exist or you have deleted that
file then the data is all lost.
