IP-ADRESSES is there a shortage?
IP adresses are a basic need for IP (Internet Protocol)
and every computer that connect to the net uses a unique
IP adress that varies him from the other computers online
IP adress is just like an adress on a mailbox so that
the postoffice (the internet routers) will know where to
send and from where to recieve the data.
there are in the current version 4 of IP a total of:
2^32 or 4,294,967,296 that may sound like a lot and so
it did to the people how designed it, but think of the
time when every home appliances will be connected to
the internet then any Toaster or Refrigerator will need
a unique IP adress, all of this and with the wastfull
IP adress classes, you can see the crisis coming, but
don't be alarmed because now in development is IP version 6
and there will be enoght IP adresses to fill the how planet
with a basketball size computers...
