Trojans
No, i don't mean the famous story about the Trojan Horse
but, it works the same way. Trojan are small programs
sent to the victim in an innocent package it's name will
say it's some utility program but the minute you run it,
you have lost your privacy and maybe even more then that
some Trojans enable the sender to control the victim's
computer from a remote computer using the internet
connection ,while the victim is online the sender can
download or upload files to the victim computer or delete any
of them he can also look at where the vicitm is surfing and
annoy him with text messages to his screen and switching his
monitor on & off some even steal the victim's connection password.
one Trojan like this is SYSTEMPATCH.EXE it can be sent by E-mail
or by ICQ from random chaters so my advice to you is don't fall
for someone telling you he will send you some cool software.
