2000 Cruiser Rules
1) CARS: Aside from modifications allowed by these rules, CARS MUST REMAIN ABSOLUTELY STOCK. No chevrolets or Chevrolet engines (other GM cars O.K.). Minimum 112 inch wheel base. Cars are to be set up to require TWO drivers. Left side driver controls the steering and brakes, right side driver controls the gas. (Hand or foot throttle permitted) Throttle MUST be out of the reach of the left side driver. Cars may be asked to run clockwise or counter clockwise. This will be decided at the begining of each event.
2) BODY AND SUSPENSION: MUST BE COMPLETELY STOCK. All exterior trim and molding must be removed. All glass, lights and plastic light covers MUST be removed. Doors MUST be chained, bolted, or welded shut. Stock latches and hinges only on hood and trunk lid. "NO HOOD PINS"! No welding, reinforcement, or modifications of any kind to body or suspension. Steering and suspension Must remain stock.
3) INTERIOR: All flammable materials MUST be removed from driver's compartment, except front seat and dash. Batteries MUST be securely fastened in the stock location.

SAFETY: Roll bar highly recommended. Should be welded or bolted to the frame and roof of the car. 2 inch pipe of no less than 1/8 inch wall diameter may be used as an inexspensive alternative to steel tubing. All joints and corners should be notched and welded all the way around. (see picture below) Vertical bars of 3/8 inch diameter and 6 inch spacing should be welded between the cowl and roof in the windsheild opening. Both drivers MUST wear helmets (full face recommended), eye protection, long pants, jacket (no nylon),or long sleeve shirt, gloves and shoes. A fire extinguisher is not a bad idea!![]()

WHEELS: Stock for vehicle used only. Maximum size 235 x 15 tire on 7 inch rim. No Mud or Snow tires Allowed! Recommended 1/2 inch stunds with 1 inch lug nuts. MUST have lug nuts on all tires. No grooving or siping of tires. No recaps.6)
REAR END: NO locked rear ends or Positraction allowed.7)
NUMBERS: All cars MUST have READABLE numbers at least 14 inches high with a minimum 3 inch stripe width on both sides and top of the car. No more than 3 digits (Numbers only, No Letters). "0" CANNOT be used for the first digit.8)
