I. THE PRE-EXISTENT CHRIST

1. Eternally the same

He13.8: ⁸Jesus Christ (the Messiah) is [always] the same, yesterday, today, [yes] and forever (to the ages).

2. With No Beginning

He7.3: ³Without [record of] father or mother or ancestral line, neither with beginning of days nor ending of life, but, resembling the Son of God, he continues to be a priest without interruption and without successor.

3. His Activities Eternal

Mi5.2: ²But you, Bethlehem Ephratah, you are litthe to be among the clans of Judah; [yet] out of you shall One come forth for Me Who is to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth have been from of old, from ancient days (eternity). [Gen49.10; Matt2.5-12; John7.42]

4. Was before the Creation of the World

Jn1.1: 1In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. [Isa9.6]

Jn17.5: ⁵And now, Father, glorify Me along with Yourself and restore Me to such majesty and honor in Your presence as I had with You before the world existed.

5. Was before Abraham

Jn8.58: ⁵⁸Jesus replied, "I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, before Abarham was born, I AM." [Exod3.14]
