Cast a Circle.

Place a candle holder in front of you.
Have a white candle
(or any other color you deem suitable)
ready, and some consecrated oil.
Tie the candle by dipping your forefinger in oil.

Then, beginning at the middle bottom of the candle,
run your forefinger from the middle bottom
- up the side
- over the top
- down the other side
- back to the starting point.

The bottom of the candle should look like
a tied package if you could see the oil.
Do not take your finger off the candled as you tie.
While tying, say:

Upon this candle I shall write
What I desire of thee this night.
Grant what I wish you to do;
I dedicate this rite to You.
I trust that You will grant this boon,
O Lovely Goddess of the Moon.

As you do this, visualize your desire,
putting all your concentration into it.

Then light the candle, and allow it to burn away.

Ground the Power.

Close the Circle.
