Contraindications/Notes
Avoid using on open sores or burns.
When used as a laxative,
do not use for more than
a week without medical advice.
Overuse can lead to cramping and loss
of electrolytes and Potassium deficiency.
Aloe should not be used during
pregnancy and lactation or given
internally to children.

Powder
1-5 grains
Fluid Extract
5-30 drops
WASH
Dissolve one half teaspoon aloes in one cup
water.
If desired, add 1 teaspoon boric acid
as a preservative and to help in healing.
Fresh leaves of aloe can be split
to expose the gelatinous
juice and rubbed on the skin
for sunburn and other
minor burns, wrinkes, insect bites
skin irritations, minor cuts and scratches.
fresh juice is said to heal wounds
by prventing or drawing out infection.
A tea made from the died juice
makes a good wash
for wounds and for the eyes.
