Auroma Wheatgerm Virgin Carrier Oil - 6.66 oz oil

In Aromatherapy, vegetable oils, called "base oils" or "carrier oils," are used to dilute essential oils. Commonly used oils include sweet almond, apricot kernel, grape seed, avocado, jojoba, olive, and sesame, but there are many more available. Some oils, such as avocado or jojoba are very nourishing and ideal for the skin. Choosing an oil is mostly based on personal preference and you may have to try a few to find one that you best fits your needs. Use the following guidelines when diluting essential oils: 2 to 3 drops per 5ml (1/6oz.) for body applications, 1 drop per 5ml (1/6oz.) for facial applications. Remember, these are merely guidelines, dilution can change depending on the essential oil used and the application for which it is being employed. For maximum shelf life, store vegetable oils in tightly closed containers in a cool, dark place.
