Moons

Esbats are a little different from Sabbaths. There is not as much preparation and ritual goes into celebrating them.
Some Witches consider Esbats to be rituals held on nights of the 13 full moons in a year. Others believe them to be day or nights to be set aside for magical workings.

The list I have written is taken from D. J. Conway's book 'Moon Magic'.

You will find that some people disagree with this list-there are other (for example the list that Silver Ravenwolf puts in her book 'To Ride A Broomstick' is very different).

Wolf Moon (January) AKA: Quiet Moon, Snow Moon, Cold Moon, Chaste Moon, Disting Moon, and Moon of The Little Winter.
