The Wedding
Webster's Dictionary defines wedding as 'the process of removing weeds from one's garden'...
The Date: So far it is on the 21st of March 2009 but that could be changed.
The Reception
So guys. I know it sounds awful and unclassy but I was thinking about the local Shooter's Bar (that's Shooter's, not Hooters). This is the link here. What do you all think?
I was thinking I might go with Wedding Package 1, if just coz I really link the simple menu and it will satisfy Brad Bethell's desire to have a spit-roast at my wedding.
The Dress
I can't find any pic that are similar so I'll just describe it.
It's A-line, and kind of wrap-around like the ones above, but it wraps on the side. It's not strapless, instead it has spaghetti straps. The bodice has rhinestones on it and has some drapery, but not too much. All in all it's a fairly simple wedding dress, but it's elegent. I like it anyway.
UPDATE: Paid for the dress but I'm not going to put a photo online coz it might be bad luck. Y'all can see it on the day.
The Bridemaids
My bridesmaids are: Kim (MoH), Bek, Nikki, Kally, Chantelle and Michelle and the groomsmen are: Brad Bethell (BM), Chris, Michael and possibly Chicken, not sure. It might be a bit hard for him seeing as he's moved to QLD but you never know. Better not pass the word around about the groomsmen though, coz so far Brad's the only one who's been asked lol.
Nikki is also acting as my marketing adviser, lol
I was thinking, coz all the bridesmaids are so different, I might have them all wear either the same dress in different colours, or the same colour dress in different styles. I dunno. Blah.
UPDATE: Bridesmaids will be in different dresses and different shades of blue. This is to complement the blue theme that I have decided on for my wedding. I want blue flowers in the bouquets, white silk Chinese-style shoes with blue trim, blue glasses and as centrepieces, blue Siamese Fighting Fish.
