"Witches practice Black Magic."

FALSE.

Magic itself is neutral. It is not good or bad, white or black. If it is used in a positive way, it is often called white, and if it is used in a negative way, it is often called black. However, Witches follow the Wiccan Rede, the "one commandment" for Witches, and that is: "An' It Harm None, Do What Thou Will." You may do what you wish, as long it does not harm anybody, including yourself, physically, emotionally, or psychologically.

It says: "Bide the Wiccan law ye must, In perfect love and perfect trust. Eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfill: An' Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will. What ye send forth comes back to thee, So ever mind the law of three. Follow this with mind and heart, Merry ye meet, and merry ye part."
The law of three refers to the Witches' belief that anything you do will come back to you threefold. In other words, if you do something good, good will be returned to you three times as much. The same with bad, though: if you do harm, harm will be returned threefold.
