Anise: Soothing, digestive (especially in a tea)

Basil
In a poultice, it is good for
drawing out poisons for insects bites/stings

Caraway:
Stimulant and carminative properties

Cayenne:
Digestive aid. Helps in causes of intestinal problems.

Cinnamon:
Carminative, stimulant, astringent, antiseptic, stops vomiting, relieves flatulence, is useful in cases of diarrhea, and womb hemorrhage.

. Clary, Common:
Antispasmodic, balsamic, carminative, tonic, aromatic. Good support for the digestive system.

Cloves:
Good for flatulence, nausea, bad breath, and digestive problems.

Coriander:
Stimulant, aromatic, and carminative.

Cumin:
Support for the digestive system.  Presently, it is used in veterinary practice as a carminative.

Currant, Black:
Diuretic, diaphoretic, febrifuge.  Sore throat.

Dill:
Colic, carminative, stimulant, aromatic, good herb for children. 
Fennel: Colic and chronic coughs.

Fenugreek:
Preventing fevers, soother of stomachs, used for diabetes.

Garlic:
Immune enhancer, Circulatory booster, blood purifier

Ginger:
Digestive, nausea, motion sickness

Horseradish:
Digestive system stimulant, diuretic, dropsy, skin cleanser.

Laurel:
Oil- Used for topically for sprains, bruises, and internally on occasion for ear infections.
Infusion- Removes obstructions, appetite enhancer, emmenagogue
Veterinary Practice- Stimulant

Mustards:
Poultices
Infusion (seeds)- helps relieve chronic bronchitis, and confirmed rheumatism.
Gargle- Sore throat

Nutmeg:
Oil- stimulant for the gastrointestinal tract
Grated(ointment)- Piles
Mixed with Mace- Flatulence

Parsley:
Tea- Carminative & Diuretic

Pepper:
Stimulant, good for constipation

Rosemary:
Tonic, astringent, diaphoretic, stimulant
Oil- Stomachic, nervine, cures many instances of headache
In hair tonic/lotions- Good for the prevention of premature baldness
Infusion- mixed with borax and used cold- Excellent hair wash

Safflower:
Infusion (leaves)- laxative and diaphoretic

Saffron
Infusion (pistils)- Carminative, diaphoretic, emmenagogue
Diaphoretic for children
Helpful in cases of Uterine hemorrhage.

Sage:
Gargle- treatment for mouth infections, sore throat, and tonsil swelling
Rub (leaves/fresh)- Tooth cleanser and gum strengthener

Tarragon:
Extract- Good for nutritionally supporting the head, heart and liver

Thyme, Basil:
Poultice- snake bites and bruises
Infusion- Nerve Toner

Syrup (fresh herb)- Whooping cough
Infusion- sore throat, excess gas
Oil- Rheumatism
Herb tobacco- Digestion, headache and drowsiness
