It was flushed by
The hatred, the anger
Of those I love.
They yelled, they screamed,
They never let up,
Never let go.
I felt their built up rage.
The white fire inside them all,
I want to douse the flame,
But my water’s not enough,
Nothing will ever be enough,
Nothing can free them
But themselves.
