Burn during Babylonian and Sumerian magickal rituals,

To restore and maintain balance of energy in your home.
A multi-purpose balancing incense, use frequently
in each room of your home.
Especially good for the bedroom.
½ oz rosemary
½ oz sage
½ oz parsley
½ oz thyme
A few drops of rosemary oil.
Mix well in mortar and pestle.
Burn on a piece of lit charcoal.

1 part cinnamon
1/2 part juniper
2 drops civet oil

Bast Incense Recipe
With this incense I decided to incorporate
both solar and lunar influences to reflect
Bast's dual attributes as both a sun and moon goddess.
I was influenced also by her love of perfume and her various
magical focuses such as love, happiness and fertility.
3 parts Frankincense
2 parts Gum Arabic
1 part Myrrh
1 part Catnip
1 part patchouli leaf
1 part Rose petal
1 part sandalwood.(Red or white)
1/2 part lavender
1/2 part Orris Root
2 drops each of Ylang Ylang and Carnation oil

Boar Incense
1 good pinch copal
1 small lump gum arabic
1 good pinch applewood
3 sage leaves
3 juniper berries (dried)
12 drops white musk oil
The first five ingredients should be ground
in a mortar and pestle but I did the resins
(first two ingredients) and applewood singly
(on their own) before grinding all together
in the mortar and pestle - and then the 'coffee mixer'
as it was a bit lumpy.
The particularly hard gum arabic need a tea towel over it
before being bashed to stop it flying back in my face.
The oil was then added to the ground mixture and I simply
blended it together with my fingers.
