The world erupts around me,
The skies darken to grey.
The oceans boil and vanish,
This is nature's way.
The fishes walk the plains,
The lion swims the sea.
These beasts hear nature's call,
But nothing calls for me.
I wait upon the mountains,
For what I have no clue.
I wish to leave this human life,
In search of something new.
The apocalypse continues,
The ground is washed in red.
Civilization has ended,
The human race is dead.
I sit alone in darkness,
I know I cannot sleep.
As despair embraces me,
I sit alone and weep.
I weep not for my brethren,
For them I had no love.
But as nature welcomes me,
The sky now shines above.
